If you're referring to the fact that they record on an 8-track which produces a bad-quality mix, I have to rebuddle with the arguement that they wouldn't be a lo-fi band if they didn't have a lo-fi sound. I think the way they record sounds awesome the way it is.
Props to the band who can pull off 8-track recording and still have a great sound.
