Swedish filmmaker Gosta Werner earned considerable acclaim in 1940s Europe for such creative and poetic short films as The Train (1948). Werner has also directed a few modest feature films and penned articles and books about the film industry. (Note: This is a different film to the French movie also called 'The Train')

@crazyracer12 Let's hope the Scotsman doesn't conk out yet again and vacuum up even more money that could have gone on other projects at the NRM. And I believe Mallard wouldn't run no matter how hard you tried. Short of a full rebuild anyway.

@robdonkey You need to be updated. Flying Scotsman's rebuild was just completed. And Mallard is preserved as an idle exhibit. I think this is wrong, myself.

@crazyracer12 Of all the locos you could have picked you picked the Scotsman and Mallard? The damn things don't work any more. Why not a Coronation or a 9F? Few things are more striking than a Coronation in full streamlining
