  • So any updates? I'm really looking to simplfy my regimen. I wash my hair 2-3x a week and was hoping to transition to all natural powders and oils. Can i use these powders 3x a week? I could use them once a week and co-wash the other two days. What do you think?

  • The powders can be really drying so you want to deep condish immediately afterwards. I would recommend - at most 1xper week or maybe if you start with every other week and see how your hair responds. oh-btw I put the amla and brahmi on wet hair. Let me know how things go:-)

  • Hey, r u still using the Amla / Brahmi powder? I use the Amla powder mixed with warm water, EVOO, Coconut, Avocado & Vatika oils, apply the mixture to my hair & scalp the apply conditioner over that and leave overnight and I love the results. The Amla powder is really strengthening my hair. I use the Amla powder mixture about 3 times a month. My indian store only had the Amla powder, not the Brahmi but I wanna try the 2 mixed together.

  • Yes I am, I use the amla/brahmi or amla alone on avg. once a month. I have the best results when I mix with warm water and at a little coconut oil. I only keep on about 2-3 hrs. I have a problem keeping anything wet on my hair overnight, makes my scalp itch. I love the amla/brahmi combo-let me know how you like it.

  • great growth. looks good. i've seen a product with those two, henna and shikaki(sp?). and it was to go over whole head.

  • Thanks:-)

  • Great vids, thanks for sharing...you could also just add a couple of teaspoons of the amla/brahmi mix to your deep dish...if you don't want to do the full hair pack :0)

  • It turned out great! I love it! I've incorporated my amla treatments in my hair care routine once a week. I'll send you my video where I show how I make & apply my mixture.

  • so how did it turn out?

  • I have vatika oil which has coconut, lemon, amla and henna in it. I have that on my dry hair now.

  • Ok I will def let u kno if i remember. I'm gonna call my indian store. They know me by name, and if they don't have something I'm asking for, they'll order it for me. They're so nice!

  • it looks good. I can see some curl defintion.
