  • where was this filmed. the place looks familiar!

  • Boulder Colorado ~ United Church of Christ, Timothy Dobson used to lead the Dances of Universal Peace there. It is also where Murshid Allaudin Ottinger from Kansas City leads his dances and Zikrs when he comes to town.

  • I am a NZ Maori and like the NZ people who have commented I agree that it's nice to hear our waiata (song) being sung in other lands.

HOWEVER...what's up with that dance??? It is most certainly NOT anything that even resembles what Maori would use as actions to that song, and I'm struggling not to find it quiet offensive. I certainly think you should change your descriptor "Te Aroha Dance from New Zealand", as it missrepresents both NZ and Maori culture.

  • TE AROHA TE WHAKAPONO ME TE RANGI MARIA TAUTO TAUTO AI LOL THATS THE LYRICS I THINK

  • lol how you say aroha

  • wonderful song we sing this at Mass but this is great

  • I so agree with the last two comments. I am not Maori, but went to Ist Level Te Reo twice and loved every part of it. I was as welcome in the class as any Maori student and treated with every respect. It is a gift to learn someone else's culture and language and I think we should all embrace our NZ Maori language. This waiata is beautful. Blessings to those who teach and share!

    Great Eagle.

  • I probably wont get a response but I'll ask anyway lol. Is that tutor a kiwi she sounds like she could pass for one, I aint heard this song in ages and after hearing it again it sounds depressing but nice though.

  • while i was in new zealand and spent there a half year at rangiora high school, i joined the maori class as well as the kapa haka group (pls excuse my spelling). The Maori culture is awesome, and i loved it as much as everything in new zealand <3 kia ora and toi ke!

  • kia ora, that was lovely

  • its awesome to see yous singing this. awesomee.
