Thanks for posting this!! What a historical treasure this is! It's interesting to hear what Bessie Jones felt the game Little Sally Walker meant to some Black people in her place & time. Btw, that game has been updated as "Little Sally Walker walking down the street". I especially appreciated seeing a performance of Johnny Cuckoo.I think this game taught self-esteem & is based on the British game Dukes A Riding.
