The Goddess of 1967 (part 12) FINAL

"Goddess" stands for French "Déesse", the nickname of Citroën DS, the name of a famous car designed in the fifties. A young and well-situated Japanese man is dreaming of such a car, and one fine day he finds an offering on the net. He calls the seller (a man living in Australia), they agree upon the price and so he travels to Australia in order to buy the car. But when he reaches his destination, there's chaos all around: The seller as well as his wife lay dead in their house and a 17 year old girl lets him in and offers him something to eat. He walks out with horror but then comes back because he forgot to ask about the car... The girl lets him see the car, and then they start a 5 day trip through the outback, and, at the same time, a trip back in time into the early youth of the girl and into her family's chronicle.

1-so...who's car was it?

2-why would a couple kill themselves when they're about to cash 40grand

3-how was she gonna kill him if the bullets are blank?

4-why did it take so long for her mother to leave the pedophile-rapist

5-why was she asking people if they knew her grandmother esther

I definitely think she (Blind Girl) killed the couple at the beginning as you see them dancing with joy at the thought of the money they are going to get from selling the car that isn't theirs, so why would the husband suddenly kill his wife and himself. BG on the other hand has this desperate need to get to her grandfather with the car that holds so many memories for her, so there is no way she would have let them sell it. And how better a way to stop them selling it but to kill them.

@toussaintmgmt 1. The car belonged to her grandfather/father and her grandmother, esther.

2. Its never explained in the film, but most likely greed/it wasn't really thier car

3. Maybe she just wanted answers/to scare him

4. Because the pedophile rapist was her father and she didn't know how/understand/distorted mentally.

5. She wants a connection to her past and figure out her family
