Gaza Protests : How should we respond to Israel's latest attack on Gaza?

Interview with Paul Benedek from the Socialist Alliance conducted at the Brisbane rally in support of Palestine, December 29th, 2008.

The rally was called to respond to the latest attack by Israel on the people of Palestine and was one of several organised protests held in capital cities across Australia. There were similar protests internationally. More protests and public meetings have been scheduled locally.

The only reason these far-Left morons support the likes of Hamas is because the see Israel as the "evil" whites, and the Palestinians as the "oppressed" coloured people. That's as sophisticated as their world view gets. They see a conflict, they pick a side based on their own prejudices, and they stick with that side no matter what that side does (e.g. brainwashes children, oppresses women, homosexuals, kills Palestinians who do not support them).

the only viable solution is an international force to stop the attacks on both ends.
