Me crossing Iron Creek in the meadow on a 5.5 mile, actually 11 mile round trip, hike where you gain 1700 feet in elevation, to arrive at Sawtooth Lake at 8900ft. We had a lunch break while my sock and shoe dried out a bit!!

  • Fun, but not very sure footed!

  • Ya, and that is VERY COLD water. I had to wring out my sock and hang it to dry, but it was sunny with very low humidity that it actually semi dried during an extended lunch break where I waded around in the stream...very refreshing!

  • So, who was the camera person?

I looked on the website you sent that had pics of the place. Very beautiful!

  • Ya, it's one of my favorite hikes. Alice Lake is a great one too. The camera person was my outdoor adventure friend, John.
