Seraph is Neo's equal in combat - and by absorbing him, (plus everybody else in the Matrix) Smith is able to best the One in combat as of their final battle.

The One vs. The Many scene is my favorite though.

ya'know Revelations was completely worth it for the first like 10-20 seconds of Neo vs Smith, so well choreographed, theres a bit just before the "ultimate fist bump" bit where Neo is dodging and punching smith at the same time...ahhh....so sweet

I personally think that they should have used a female actress for the part of seraph, some higly combat skilled, extremly sexy chinese woman, deadly and skilled in martial arts,...that would be cool!
