In the final installment of our 2005 V6 Mustang build, the final numbers are revealed as Dave heads back to Swarr Auto for one last DYNO (oh, and we also add a little something extra, too)

  • Anyone who bashes V6 mustangs are idiots. More V6 mustangs are being sold at dealerships than V8. Why do you think company's are continuing to come out with so many V6 mods. Why do you think AM made this video. Most people who buy them these days dont buy them to race. They buy them because of the look and feel of the car when you drive. Not everyone feels the need to go 100 mph in their mustang. I dont care whether a mustang is a V6 or V8 I like all mustangs.

    V6 looks perfect

    but V8 GT500 , shelby is looks MONSTER

    Why did i get a v6 because i had a SC 383 el camino wasting 500-600 a month on gas i got tired I of it sold it to my supervisor and got this idk how many mpg it gets but compared to my last car its heaven and has a/c

    Im just a dude that likes his fast cars as daliy drivers

    Im not complaining

  • i hate the sound on the mustang but love it on the g35 is that weird they sound about the same when mustang is tuned engines about the same size as the g37 just dont like the sound on a mustang it doesnt fit the car

  • @CemetaryGatesML yeah i sometimes shift at 5000 RPM. and i just did the pedal mod so i hope that works out well

  • @videowatcher93 probably not, your engine would make Max torque probably at around 3500rpm and max Hp at about 4500 rpm. tho 5000rpms would probably be the best place to shift

  • @CemetaryGatesML oooooh ok i see, thanks for the clarification. so I would only be getting the full 190 HP or 140 HP if l floor the pedal and upshift when I hit 5500 RPMs (edge of redline)?

  • @videowatcher93 you have the older V6 mustang. it makes 190hp at the crack, and about 140hp at the wheels.

    this mustang makes 210hp at the crank, and 160hp at the wheels. ( theres a loss of power through the drive train)

    so after mods this car is making 200hp at the wheels, and about 260 at the crank

  • @MatthewTuckerEnt dont run nos. its hard on the engine and realllyy isent good. best suited for cars with a rock solid built engine.

    but i would recomend a locked diff. and MABY lower gear ratios like 3:73... it will definitly make your car take off faster, and the locked diff will eliminate the "1 wheel wonder" affect of an open diff...however, it will hurn handling...but who cares not like we are hard core need for speed street racers haha
