@jbyrns Hmm, any idea how much they cost? Im in the UK so we dont have Radio Shack over here :(

Yes. all you need is a radio that can do 145.800 fm. Hook up the audio to your pc and run the software. You can even place your computers mic on top of the speaker of your radio.

Can I do this with my handheld and the Arrow?
Is it as easy as connecting the audio from the radio to the computer's mic?

I don't know.... But it is inside the space the space station, so I think it is pretty cool.
I'm easy to please.

@tronlaser if it can do 145.8 FM, yes. You should be able to do this with a basic scanner from radio shack. Better antenna gives you a better result.

@tronlaser I am not familiar with stores in the UK. However, most radio stores would have them. Possibly even a "Big Box" store. Ebay should have a lot. Try craigslist for a used one. I see that scanners are illegal/difficult to listen to in the UK, so scanners may not be common there. I'm sure there are ham stores out there somewhere.
