Cracking video - as ever Davey - one fly I would love to see you tie is the Cinnamon Gold - did well with it on S Uist the last couple of years - I use gold/brown turkey feather for the wings but I'm not happy with them - a little too stiff I think . A fine fly though for those brackish lochs on Uist and Benbecula

The Cinnamon and Gold was a favourite fly of one my uncles and the wing that I used on it was from a golden pheasant, I have one or two requests for wets and if I get a chance I'll tye this fly for you...ATB Davie

nice fly davie. i will be making this 1 . 1 thing. why did you cover the red holographic is there any need to use it ?....as from the vid i cant see any red holographic showing

Don't worry you will see the red holographic showing through the mirage when the light reflects off it the red especially catches the light, when you see it you will like what you see...
