I played with Mark during the F.A. daze. We ripped it up at the Plough & Stars a few times.
Peace Brother.

Perhaps I received some improper curb education....

@crimson6858 Ummm actually he tunes his bass DA, with the G string being tuned up to A. Essentially it's tuned in 4th's. Idk where you got 2 E strings from...

Mark Sandman is the man, The saddest song is the Song !!!!!! And the music is over my friends :(

@jrwgmail True story, I played along with this song, same setup, a fifth a part. I remember going into the music shop to buy a slide 'for my bass guitar', and the shop assistant just looked at me like I was a stupid feck. Little did he know.

@crimson6858 I'm genuinely not saying this to be a petty dick, but I think they're tuned a 5th apart. RIP Mark Sandman indeed, my musical hero

@gravitywheel Yea i found that the album version kinda lacked the energy that the live show had :)
Saw Primus live at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston right after Mark died. Les Claypool brought it up as music having lost the greatest bass player to ever live... whether you agree with Les or not, we truly did lose an incredible musician/singer/songwriter when he left us. R.i.p. Mark
