Correct on both counts. It was helpful on 'Wheel' so that mistakes weren't made ie. P sounding like a T or B, S for F etc.

i know that the contestants on supermarket sweep said 'yes dale', 'ham dale', '59p dale' etc etc because mr winton told them to say his christian name when giving him an answer.
i wonder if the contestants on wheel of fortune were similarly instructed to say 'S for sugar', 'T for tommy' etc?
