Ireland has suffered due to bad planning - our ghost estates are a prime example. If proper planning laws existed, our country might have avoided this difficult recession. The Government are rolling back on progressive laws that the previous Minister for the Environment put in place to tackle these problems. If I'm elected as a TD for Dublin West, I will push the government to re-consider their plans.

  • Sorry Mr. O'Gorman, I can't watch this without getting angry. I mean ffs. A field, in the middle of nowhere, no schools buses or trains around, called the bog by locals cause it's known to flood. But sure, the owners gave me a dig out, lets zone that as residential. I hope you do get in so you can at least call them out on this. No one else on the opposition side seems bothered!

  • I cant believe Phil Hogan cancelled the investigation into bad planning. He just wants everyone to forget Fine Gael's role in what was one of the biggest contributions to our economic disaster.
