Translucent body parts, wonderful shots. Slow progress, but progress it is: I wish people would see the metaphor in nature's performance. Unique film, once more!

great comment, thanks! ...yeh it was filmed in the early evening so the sunlight was low and shining across the grass and through the snail as opposed to down on to it and it is the first time i have ever noticed that a snail is so translucent!

unfortunately not, but i would dearly love to! ...i once saw an interview with francis bacon and he was speaking in fluent french but with a london accent, tres cool!

Ah, so it's not a particular species sporting a heightened translucency, it's your choice of lighting. Brilliant. I like to watch simple wonders.

Amazing too.....I just finished reading Carl Jung for whom the snail was representative of the self in dreams.... the soft insides are to the subconscious, as the shell is the conscious....your film totally illustrates the theory....
