Episode 27 - The New Enemy! Gedow's Invasion
This one starts the Gedow story arc. Joe, Silvia, Captain Blue, and Junior(!) return to the real world. Or do they? Joe's dad Jet is introduced, and the heroes return to Movieland to combat Gedow. Note that Blue is not transformed into an Oscar, but instead into a hammer-like object. I guess this is because the average Japanese kid wouldn't know what an Oscar was. Maybe it's just me, but I find the scene where Joe scratches his nose to be hilarious.

I prefer good dubbing to subbing, and subbing to a bad dubbing.

But in this series, the dub had a whole bunch of stuff edited out. I prefer this version because of the edits, even though the translation is laughable. You can still get a pretty good idea what's going on, and you get to see the whole thing.

It's crappy subbing on the part of the translators. If you listen to the audio, the characters actually say Junior.
