@kashiwamizu Nah. They have replaced the writing system completely in Hangul. Hanja are probably still taught if someone take Classical Literature class, as some of it's symbols are different from the original Chinese, but not in most schools.
@AsianMeatBunBoy Koreans have used Chinese characters for writing official documents and scholarly literature for a long time, just like the Japanese. In Korea's case, to make reading and writing less difficult for commoners, who didn't have much time to study 3000+ characters, King Sejong invented the Hangul, the commoner's writing system, now widely used in everyday life.
