  • An allergist doctor is the one who gives the remicade when it has to be taken this way. It does take longer to get it but it was my only choice because all thats all there was (remicade). I couldn't have gone without it. I know it is probably useless information to you now but, I guess I thought I would share. My doctor decided that I should stop remicade now and take humira so next month I guess I will be starting that. The hospital I go to is nearly 3 hours away from me so this is a good thing

  • My GI corrected me in saying that it wasn't that I was allergic to it really, but more so that my body developed antibodies and was rejecting the Remicade all together.

  • Yeah that is the same thing that happened to me as well. The way they were able to administrate it to me was by diluting the doses in a 3 stage protocol. The first stage is almost purely saline solution. They gave it to me manually with a syringe (without the needle) into my iv with a saline drip going to get it in. They would wait around 15 minutes after every injection to watch me for reactions. Also they had me pre-medicate with benadryl and prednisone the day of the treatment.

  • yeah they did that for me as well after the first couple of times I started rejecting it, but the symptoms still occurred.

  • nice lip ring :)

  • I'm dealing with mild, but worsing Crohn's. I'm mentally preparing for the possibility of having surgery. You mentioned that they connected the ileum to the rectum. Does this mean you have no pouch?

  • As a Crohns Disease patient who has used Remicade since 2002 and hoped to find fighter like myself to combat the FDA and these greedy companies who know we may get sicker but still talk of only managing, or alleviating the symptoms. Why are they experimenting on us, at least that is how it feels to see your son go through a re-sectioning and a DVT, It really makes you want some real answers. To all my fellow sufferers, dont give up, Lets stick it back to them!! Crohns, Colotis, IBD sucks

  • @4chango I havent. I started to suffer liver failure after trying imuran and then humira. I have had 2 operations now. The last one about 3 weeks ago to make my ile perm. Thanks for the idea and all. I feel lots better and wish I had gotten this done 20 years ago. I wish everyone still fithing the best. I still have many challenges, this is NOT the best solution but I am still here :)

  • I was just checking on the humira for my dad, I highly recommend looking into the Raw/Living Food Lifestyle. There are amazing books out there including but not limited Green for Life & 12 Steps to Raw Foods by Victoria Boutenko. I'm trying to get my dad to go to the Living Foods Institute in Atl, GA. Check it out, many people have healed by switching to this lifestyle. it can't hurt!

  • It's like watching your face during the video I can tell you get it. The pain and mentally...you get it. Hang in there...you are not alone.

  • @Justicexhaze: There are plenty of naturopathic approaches on my channel for different conditions. If a certain condition is not posted than write us and depending on the amount of requests we will post it in the comment section. As for your liver it is important to given your body the needed naturopathic medicines to improve it as well as the fistula.

  • @momoneko: Have you tried a naturopathic approach for your rheumatoid arthritis?

  • @lineblack2: Have you tried a naturopathic approach?
