SAS Bombardier CRJ-900 take off from Roskilde

Take off from Roskilde on a short flight on a Scandinavian Airline System (SAS) Canadair CRJ-900. You can see a Douglas DC-3 taxying onto the apron shortly before take off. The flight was a round-trip flight from the Roskilde Airshow and flew north from Roskilde towards Helsingor then back along the coast towards Kopenhagen before landing back at Roskilde. Many thanks to all the crew for a fantastic flight on a wonderful aeroplane.

What's interesting to me is how much more enthusiastic most of Europe is about aviation than here in the states... there are several people taking pictures throughout the video. I think it's great... here in the U.S. all people do it gripe and moan the whole time. Great to see people actually excited about going flying!

@EightCharlieFox We've got plenty of moaning gripey people here in the UK too! I had always thought the Americans were more enthusiatic about aviation too! I can't get enough of flying, whether its in a small Cessna or as a pax on a 747, its just a real buzz!

is that flight only for domestic flights, Domestic that is if the plane only flyes in denmark

@ButteKha Hej, It was a special flight from the Roskilde Airshow. I think SAS also use the CRJ900 on some routes to the UK from CPH. They flew them to Birmingham but I am not sure if they still use them on that route.

@EightCharlieFox some people dont like flying, some fly all the time so its nothing new to them and then theres people like me that get so freaking excited whenever they SEE an airplane. just depends on the person.

@EightCharlieFox Two of the reasons people in the USA are moaning and bitching by the time they get to the boarding gate (and on the aircraft) is because of the obsene added fees by the airlines and the TSA molesting people!

Um, it's a fam flight for the 900, after SAS canned the Q400. All the pax are enthusiasts going on a short trip from a small airport. It's not a regular revenue fligh. If it were, you would definately see US style behaviour (:
