  • Shape note singing, punk rock, and a sweet Rickenbacker bass... What's not to love about Cordelia's Dad?

  • This was fun to see. Thanks much for posting it.

This band, with its eclectic nature, reminds me of a Walt Whitman quote: "I am large; I contain multitudes."

  • haha no mean guitar but a beautiful voice lol

  • @dawnseve - wow how amazing! did she play a mean Gretsch guitar too? :-)

  • My grand mom used to sing Jersey City to me when I was a little girl!! Sort of morbid I know. I have been searching everywhere for years for the source of most of the words I had remembered and then finally...its here! This group nails it! I am actually a new fan starting today after hearing them!!

  • thank u so great <3

  • I think he sounds better.

  • Not familiar with Cordelia's Father until now. Great thing about YouTube, you can just surf into something exciting. They are really hard to catagorise though: Folk; Folk-Rock; Indi; mainstream rock; avante gard?

  • This is great to find. My two loves, Shape Note singing and Alex Chiton (Children by the million scream for....) in one band. My dream, thanks.
