Documenting guitar sounds for the ultimate tone in the production of big time recordings and sessions ! Eddie Kramer and Paul Crook seeking searching with me for every amazing guitar and tone we can find on the ultimate guitar tone search ! Playing Paul vickers 61 strat ! Nice ! As you can see there ain't no shortage of old marshall power and for a guitar hero , there still isn't a better amp made today . Hey but if there is I would like to find it ?! The bad cat 100 does rock ! The VHT was fat too ! The midrande on the marshalls is so perfect in it's 750 Hertz thing ! Exhaustive sessions and recording going all the way to toneville ! Kramer always the professional working tirelessly to make it the best it could be ! Paul Crook ( guitarist for Meatloaf ) the guitar go to guy always creative and quick with what sounds good and not ! Old pick ups this and vintage guitar that , so much scientific analisis to tone all being documented by Mr. Kramer the complete professional who would not leave 1 stone unturned untill we knew that we knew what the heck we were doing in every detail was managed and recorded with notes and track sheets on this totally inspired work of extreme importance for the information and discerment of understanding guitar tone for the guitar world !

  • Hey man, I want to bury the hatchet about our Hendrix debate a few months ago. I think you're a fine player and I do agree that Hendrix was dumb to abuse drugs, but also naive. Good luck to you.

  • I started playing guitar at age 13 after listening to Hendrix play Johnny B goode live at berkeley Ca. off of the Hendrix in the west live album that was in 1973 . He was already dead by then and I regretted never seeing Him play . He had so much potential and I think if He was clean off the drugs We would have gotten so much more out of Him ! I am sorry too about argueing about it , we can't get no where with that or bring Him back .

  • abusing drugs is bad, but in moderation theres good in everything , if you think Hendrix's style sound and overall song writing would have been the same without the drugs ... ill have to say your wrong, it was his free attitude and spontaneous playing that made every hendrix show new and great, its what drove his style and his character. without the drugs he wouldn't have been the hendrix you love.
