Hey man, I want to bury the hatchet about our Hendrix debate a few months ago. I think you're a fine player and I do agree that Hendrix was dumb to abuse drugs, but also naive. Good luck to you.

I started playing guitar at age 13 after listening to Hendrix play Johnny B goode live at berkeley Ca. off of the Hendrix in the west live album that was in 1973 . He was already dead by then and I regretted never seeing Him play . He had so much potential and I think if He was clean off the drugs We would have gotten so much more out of Him ! I am sorry too about argueing about it , we can't get no where with that or bring Him back .

abusing drugs is bad, but in moderation theres good in everything , if you think Hendrix's style sound and overall song writing would have been the same without the drugs ... ill have to say your wrong, it was his free attitude and spontaneous playing that made every hendrix show new and great, its what drove his style and his character. without the drugs he wouldn't have been the hendrix you love.
