I met Del Arte recently at his 130th birthday and he was really sweet. He even performed some of his old tricks for us.

Yeah, especially those 115 year olds, which is the minimum age he would have to be if he was 25-35 years old like the guy in this silent movie from the '20s.

Del looks uncannily like a certain grandpa of ours here, not that i can see proper New Englander Paul being that goofy. Then again, he *did* play violin in vaudeville, did you know that?

How could Del Arte' be 86 and living in Hollywood? That would make him born in 1922. So how could he be the adult supposedly performing from this film from the 20s?

Vaudeville violin...I must hear that story sometime. Probably didn't notice, but I'm wearing Granpa Frayers Masonic jacket in the video...memories...
