On my way back to the United States from Vietnam, I had an 8 hour layover in Tokyo's Narita Airport. Rather than just sitting around, I paid about $50 to take the Narita Express train into central Tokyo to see what I could see. My two goals were to see the big cross walk featured in the film "Lost In Translation" and to eat at a sushi restaurant with a rotating bar.
I went to Japan last year, one of the best times of my life. Would definitely go back and travel elsewhere besides Tokyo. I don't think I would've been able to find my way and manage my time as well as you though.

Roppongi at night is an experience and Shibuya during the rush our has to be seen to be believed.

How did the sushi train work? Just take how ever many plates and each plate has a cost assigned to it?

Great Vid! Makes me miss Japan (lived there for 9 years). Next time you go, check out the Harajuku area (you can walk from Shibuya). And drink green tea instead of coffee :-)
