Psychological Thriller - Mrs Baker's Daughter Short film

A serial killer has just murdered his victim and is now hunting his next. An unassuming Detective is now following the case and he is yet to understand the devastating magnitude of the days events and what's about to unfold that will change his life forever.

This is Jamie Burt's first short film that was completed in 2000 at film school in Sydney, Australia.

This film was a maverick short film that almost never got made. With only a concept, a few story-boards and no script the idea was passed over by film-school teachers during the selection process of which student films would go into production. With the headstrong opinion that the only reason I went to film school was to make a film of my own I went and made it anyway whilst the others made theirs.

So with a tiny crew: myself, Blake Roberts & James Davies along with a small group of actors we went out and shot Mrs Bakers Daughter on a 3CCD mini DV.

This is the result.

I love the twist to this video. It had me captivated the whole way. Very cool. Great concept and well shot.
