  • What you want is people convincing to become true individuals but his will not work. It is so much easier to be part of a group, to be, talk, look like everyone else. This is what we are expected to be, like everyone else. I for my part have given up. I do not go to gay clubs and I give a shit about the scene. I am an outsider within outsiders and that does not make my live easy but as you say I am more happy for myself. I really admire your idealism. I hope you could make gay man think...

  • I think the times are over that being gay means to be proud to be different. For the last 40 years gays have fought to have the same rights as everyone else. Gays can get married now and even adopt children and start to have more and more civil rights as heterosexual- therefore the get more like everyone else, watch American Superstar, bitch about celebrities, complain about our neighbour who does not do his part of the lawn...

  • I like this video but I don't agree with it 100%. It's human nature to be turned on by a person's looks, gay or straight, man or woman; But I agree the gay male community is dominated by physical appearance. I think he over-focuses on the "Adonis" gays while ignoring the same alienation that goes on between leather gays, chubby gays and other subgroups. All subgroups of the gay community alienate people. It's difficult. Ageism too. A 50yo man alienates other men his own age. It's what men do.

  • I loved this video man. The thing is parts of the gay community isn't as accepting as the gay "community" think it is. It made me very very sad the day I found this out. I love my self and I refuse to change myself for someone else in order to fit this "Adonis" mold but it seems like every gay in my age bracket want to be with an gay version of Brad Pitt. Maybe that's why i'm attracted to age 30+ . Makes me want to stay in the closet. sigh...

  • What are your thoughts on the line between not being concerned over someone's looks & sexuality/sexual orientation being meaningless? Por ejemplo, if one doesn't focus at all on someone's looks, then why are they gay and not pansexual?

  • @xypowerpop +fav

  • this is an interestingly honest/raw video.

I also like your thoughts on why relationships in the gay community not working because of perhaps the intense focus on self-image and the images of others, rather than REALLY taking in who a person is.

  • as my ex would say "great hardware, faulty software"

  • great video
