Studio Tech Tips - Recording Male vocals

For male and female vocals, Ronan uses the the Pearlman TM-1 condenser mic. However, his choice of microphones will vary depending on the singer. His preamp of choice is the A Designs Audio Pacifica (http://ow.ly/1QLvf ), or an original Quad Eight MM-71, which served as inspiration for the Pacifica (http://ow.ly/1QLvf ) (Ronan's MM-71s were formerly owned by Neil Young). If compression is needed, Ronan uses the Empirical Labs Distressor (http://ow.ly/1QLwW ), or the Pete's Place BAC-500 (petesplaceaudio.com/bac500.html ("Pete" is Peter Montessi of A Designs Audio).

That.. guys.. sucks.. seriously get this video off the internet. Only spamming some hardware brands without giving any REAL tips. Your guitar tutorial was quite the same.. that guy couldn't hold still to provide for a constant vector of the soundhole on the mic, and his dynamic sucked balls. Also, he only knows one chord progression, it seems.. lol.
