Nissan Fairlady 2000 SR311

Nissan Fairlady 2000/Datsun 2000 Roadster being driven round a bit, listen to that engine!! Superb! Unknown source but I'm sure that car has been used on a Best Motoring vid or something.

Beautiful car. As a kid my next door neighbor had a 69' 2000 in grey with Panasport wheels along with an 88' Porsche 944. Lucky guy. His Datsun 2000 was the first roadster I ever got a ride in. I'll never forget it. I drive a 2000 Honda S2000 now and would like to pick up an SR311 someday to go along with it. Thanks for posting.

@heathlive Well, the 1500 was the first car I ever owned and it was not in great shape (I paid $100 dollars for it in 1970). I broke the timing chain on the 2000 racing out of a toll booth in the Garden State Parkway and didn't have the money to repair it (I was a poor college student). I owned the Fairlady for over 10 years and wanted to keep it, but kids and houses cost money!

I am 17 and bought a 1982 Datsun 280zx last year with my own hard earned money. I plan on NEVER selling it. I can't wait if God allows me to have it all the way until i pass away. That would be the thing of beauty for me. Having my very first car when ive all grown up and am 80years old. Thats my dream and goal.

First car I ever owned was a 1965 Datsun 1500. Second car was a 1968 2000, and the third was a right hand drive Fairlady Z.....I miss all of them!
