As a surviving distant relative of Sgt. Mark E. "Sarge" Jennings, it was with distress I learned of his not-so recent passing. To the family, I send my most heartfelt condolences for this loss of a man who's laughter was shared by all.
I'm not sure what impact this video will have in this networked world, but I have further regret in not releasing it sooner with instructions to state that should Sgt. Jennings or Ms. Lizzie Lou Chaplain pass away, I was to immediately post this to the Internet.
After learning of Mark's passing, I went on a search for Ms. Chaplain and still have yet to receive confirmation one way or another as to her whereabouts.
However, I did have a chance to meet Ms. Chaplain and subsequently enjoy a few of her musical performances with some of the local musicians within Illinois.
Therefore, I am following the set of instructions Mark left for me because he was such a wonderful friend to have around as a child. I did not have the most pleasant of childhood's, but that was due to severe medical complexities I still battle from time to time. But Mark would always take the time to hang out with me in my bedroom and play board games, especially backgammon and Risk, for sometimes hours while the rest of my brothers and sisters were outside playing.
I believe in Mark and I believe in much of the materials spoken in this video to be the truth according to Ms. Chaplain's perception of certain events surrounding an extensive stay in a locked-down mental health facility against her free will.
According to the letter I opened Monday night after learning of the news, I am to make mention that "make sure the statement made by Ms. Chaplain at the beginning of the video is stricken from the record should one or both of us fail to produce enough evidence to counter-act these insane claims being made against her."
Mark said to tag this video with "The New Manhatten Project Project Black Kitty Kat Style," place it in the "Musician" bin and that people would know what it means. I don't know what that tagging stuff means, but I do know that even I have my concerns surrounding what has grown from the seeds his legacy has planted since his passing. So I am going to toss my own special tag I was given back when I met Ms. Chaplain if I wanted to talk with her in private.

Your brightness and lightness will always remain in our memories as someone who knew how to teach what he preached by simply doing first and then waiting patiently for the rest to catch up so we could learn how he performed his special brew of laughter out loud.
