  • Very nice. I guess you converted the text to a mesh and set that as a particle emitter and then played the animation backwards?

  • Exactly. This was done with the old particle system within blender ( < 2.46) The new one is much better to archive such effects.

  • @Sowldred I think it was this: select the object, hit alt+c and select convert to mesh. Not entirely sure though.

  • in my case is just a glowing pile of undefinable particle :/

  • @UltimateMusicMaker It's reversed, but you could probably do it using keyed. Also, reactor wouldn't work at all for this.

  • @SNESIvan alt C then select "convert curve/text/meta to mesh"
