i had one of them i put a traxxas Velineon Brushless motor in it and it went really fast i was beating a vxl bandit i have videos on here of it brushless check it out on my channel i only used nhmi.

@2020skywarp Fact. I had that happen with my old duratrax evader buggy back in the day while running AM radio (that was all that was out at the time).
That thing did about 30mph into a wall locked into turning right.
Front end was wrecked, stripped out the spur. Not good day.

one tip, never turn the truck on before the remote. it could catch a different frequecy and go bonkers

Damn guys go easy. Actually that is a great little truck for a kid starting out.Good to learn on. All they had in that $ range when I was a kid was toy grade. Of course toy grade was better then, now it's junk. ENTRY LEVEL-key word. Why y'all hatin so much, I mean yeah I have a Slash 4x4 and a Summit, but you can't compare $400+ vehicles to entry level. I didn't even realize they had 1/10 hobby grade for that price. I think I'll get my nephew one.

@Hot1049 dude electrix rc is a entry level brand any way. they can not do 30 more like maybe 17 20 and i would know because i had one as my first truck and it was a good first truck im getting one for my cousin. so dont act like this truck is any diffrent because its not its the same platform with a dif body end of story. they dont go 30 out of the box if you want to do 30 and up get a traxxas or associated. any of theres would out run this without a sweet.
