Acclaimed Southern writer Tito Perdue speaks with Dr. Tom Sunic in a radio interview. This excerpted version of the interview touches on Perdue's antipathy towards Northern culture and its obsession with materialism, his love of his Southern roots, self-determination, diversity and racial relations in both the North and South.

  • The more I listen to this channel the more my north eastern predujuses are challenged. I hope to get to know some southerners some day, I agree with what this author says.

  • @lhn6856 Thank you for that comment. It's certainly appreciated. Take care.

  • I notice your against multiculturalism? Why is that? Why is it bad to be around people that are not exactly like you?How are they attacking the south? We still have our slang, our guns and our religion. Noone up north has tried to take that away.

  • @subzerochillin Multiculturalism is not the same as cultural diversity. If you listen to Mr Perdue's entire interview he makes that clear. He favours diversity & opposes multiculturalism, which is a Left-wing ideology. I was forced to take a multicultural studies class in my graduate program & I can tell you it was basically Hate Whitey 101. Whites were continually attacked. Gov't intervention was promoted throughout. A bland, homogeneity was called for. It's an ideology of cultural suicide.

  • Dixie is alive and well in my neck of the woods.

The New England Yankees are not like us in the least, and they admit it openly.

There is no logical reason for us to share a legal system with them.

If we do not preserve our own Heritage and Identity, then what are we leaving to our Children?

    Secession now, Freedom forever!

  • @subzerochillin Multiculturalism is an attempt to destroy white areas. It is not practiced anywhere else in the world except where whites exist in significant numbers. Bringing in the rest of the world and telling them to settle the land, retain their culture and mate with all of the host people's is colonialism. The South, North and West are being colonized by the rest of the world as is Europe.

  • @clborg88 Being another Southerner who has lived in NYC, I couldn't agree more. The place, the people, and the whole culture is just cold. I could have far better business opportunities for what I do if I were willing to live in NYC. No way. I'm much happier back home in the South. What he says about integration is also correct. The South is far more integrated and folks get along much better. Check out Salon's article of the 10 most segregated cities. NONE of them are in the South.

  • @subzerochillin Multiculturalism is the ascent of anti-western ideals in America. It's not about "being around other people", but equivocating failed cultures of those who have recently colonized the US.

  • @subzerochillin Also, look at how Blacks were treated in both the North & South after the war. Not so well. Was "democracy" brought to them. I would say not. And today? The US prison population, which is easily the largest on the planet, is disproportionately Black. There are more Blacks in US prisons today than there were Black slaves in the Old South.

  • @subzerochillin Everyone in the US Empire is suppressed today. Justice is only for the elites - something to be bought if you have enough money. Our every activity is regulated - everything from your light bulbs to your toilet to the amount of salt resturants can put in their food. The regulatory state at home goes hand-in-hand with the imperialist agenda of the Feds, who now operate 1,000 foreign military bases and are currently fighting multiple wars against countries that did us no harm.
