This is normal, Snow Leopard is very badly programmed and isn't very CPU effective compared to Leopard.

I am having slow issues with expose on more than 3 windows at a time. This is on my 2007/2008 mac mini and is due to it's fairly weak graphics processor.
So you are not alone.

i have this too i have repaired permissions and it made it a little better but leopard on 5.8 was slik smooth i mean buttery goodness :D i hope its a fix in the next update because it seems like one of those things thats good one min then bad another haha :D apple just leave things that arent broken be :)
