This is the song Savages (from Pocahontas), restored to its original and pre-theatrical state by mixing with the soundtrack.

Three lines were changed because they were considered to be "too harsh":
"Their whole disgusting race is like a curse" was changed to "Here's what you get when races are diverse"
"Dirty redskin devils" was changed to "Dirty shrieking devils"
"Let's go kill a few, men!" was changed to "Let's go get a few, men!"

Warning: These lines WERE removed for a reason. The rest is a straight rip from the Pocahontas DVD.

Ma people need to focus less on the dirty redskin devil line, and more on that Hellfire song from Hunchback

The point of this was really not whether it's the worst song Disney has made or not, it's that this one was actually censored. Hellfire, as far as I know, was not. Therefore you can find it all over, and there would be no point in me taking the time to bother with it.

I perfer the original. It shows the emotion and how foolish racism is, in my view that is. People once thought this, removing the lines due to 'being harsh' is foolish.

Also, the reason I use the words "care" and "respect" is that tolerance implies having to hold your nose and put up with someone, whereas care and respect mean befriending someone regardless of your beliefs or practices. Please, don't flame me; all I intend to do is make a point, and I am sure most of you can relate to me on that.

First of all, the removal of the three lines was pointless for 2 reasons: first of all, "they aren't like you and me, which means they must be evil," is not only horrible bigotry, but also a horrible case of "If this sentence is true, then Germany borders China" logic. Second, the point of the movie is to show the lack of respect and care between cultures who met after thousands of years of isolation. Either way, the point is made, so why remove the lines?

Yes, I always find it funny when works of fiction get criticized because their villains are doing exactly what they're supposed to do: being evil!
