Journey of OM - the book

Journey of OM is a symbolic survey of the Indic radiation of ideas, languages, religions, art and culture to the E/SE Asia. The Journey of OM begins from two directions: i/ the Far East (Japan); ii/ the Lower South (Vietnam) and merges in one destination - Tibet. The course of this journey is reverse to the actual historical time. It passes through what is known today as Shangri~La and continues toward Tibet, where the teachings of Kala-Chakra (wheel of time) may have been preserved.

Journey of OM evokes synchronicity of places, people and historical times. As described in the Mandukya Upanishad, the three letters in the mystical A-U-M encode three psychological states. The a is for state of wakefulness; the u stands for the dream state; and m represents the state of no desire and consciousness. Similarly, this book gathers photographic visions from different places and times, with the intent to give the feel of the eternal.
