The gift of celery is a very magnanimous gesture, but I think John would have preferred toast. This is purely based on the length of his beard and raised eyebrows. I think you will all agree.

@DirEnGay The Office on a whole isnt that funny but it is good to watch, really makes u cringe

@RoyMM46 Sitcoms are rarely laugh out loud funny anyway, and they don't really do an equivalent to our 6 episodes per year ones like IT Crowd and The Inbetweeners though I bet most American's would like it. They remade The Office and made it funnier than the original, yet I don't like either, it's just a fact.
They lack panel shows and stuff and it's a great way for comedians to get together and poke fun at other celebrities, I have no idea why they don't have them.

@DirEnGay Fair point....i just don't think american sitcoms are funny...i used to like fresh prince and a few others, but i was young and thats why....i change my comment to AMERICAN SITCOMS ARE'NT FUNNY,unless your easily pleased by boring punchlines or a child!!

@RoyMM46 You're comparing a panel comedy show to a sitcom? A bit unfair, granted I do love English panel shows and standup, American standup and comedy series are funny too, only American's will not understand things like Shooting Stars, it's not in their culture.

i think its just that most american dont understand the comedic value of irony
