Installing a support in 9" diff for axles as I don't have a center yet

  • I would have to push it a long way to start wearing the hardened ends on a spline, when in reality its only moving periodiaclly 1 or 2 meters.

  • With no diff center the axles are unsupported & will rotate in an elliptical fashion rather than straight . This can cause damage to the bearings .The pipe keeps them relativley straight. It's not the weight on the bearings from the chassis which is the problem.

  • u will do more damage to the splines with that pipe

  • it wouldent hurt the berings like that cause there is hardly any weight on it like it sits
