What are the ways in which artists address the everday in art? This everyday might be domestic, relational or political. Most likely this everyday will embody all of these qualities and more.

This panel is composed of artists who are know primarily as performance artists. They have created a history from which interventionist practices have been able to grow.

This history and the connections to interventionist art practices are discussed as well as the ongoing work of these artists, most of whom are currently practicing interventions under other names.

From the "Intervene! Interrupt!: Rethinking Art as Social Practice" conference and festival. University of California Santa Cruz - May 15-17, 2008
