Lenses http://www.dealextreme.com/p/universal-13mm-wide-angle-0-67x-macro-lens-attac... and Fisheye http://www.dealextreme.com/p/15mm-detachable-180-degree-wide-angle-fish-eye-l...
Step-by-step video instructions show how to fit the magnetic wide angled lenses to a Key Chain camera. (I used DealExtreme lenses.) Camera cases of all of the Key Cams whether HD or the original SD version, are all the same. At the end of the video there's a short clip comparing the angle of view of each lense as compared to the standard camera lense. The lenses I tested were found to be the best out of those available. DealExtreme lense part numbers at the end of the video. 0.67x lense and Fisheye lenses tested.

  • This is a great video! I plan to order this cam soon and thanks to you I know exactly which lenses to order and how to fit them. Top notch!

  • @josephbilling No problem mate. Have fun.

  • Nice idea! Keep it up!

Where can get that magnetic ring?

  • @TheSliekaStyle Two sticky rings are supplied when you buy the lense.

  • I'm interesed in aplying your fantastic tutorial on my 808 jumbo #11, and I don't know which one did you used. Sku 39814 or 102101?. Thanks. Another thing, did you managed to do a holder for motorcycle?

  • @Nriku8 I use DealExtreme Universal 13mm Wide-Angle/0.67X Macro Lens Attachment for Digital Cameras and Cell Phones 14953 and 15mm Detachable 180-Degree Wide Angle Fish Eye Lens for Cell Phones and Compact Digital Cameras 39814 For paragliding I have a small plastic bracket that fits in the chinguard of my full face helmet.

  • @TheJiggz043 it took them 12 days to arrive.. I think they are as good as they get considering the size and overall DIY approach.

  • @alexinshade when you got your fish eye , how long did it take and how goo are they cuz i bought them yesterday :) please reply

  • @alexinshade I found that you can get some reflections from the inside edge of the hole in front of the lense so I bevelled the edge. It works. Best way is to remove the inards (don't touch the circuit board , hold by the edges) and use a small twist drill by hand. You can do it wil a scalpel blade alternatively. I wouldn't bother unless you have a problem. Have fun with the lense.

  • December 2012 yeah :)

I've got me lens off ebay, seller's name fofofovs. I don't like the DX of late...

This is after trying a plastic version. The whole thing is of course inspired by your videos :)

Well, I've got the lens and now I'm about to apply it to my jumbo cam. I have a question though. At 1:00 as you're saying "this is a band new one" I think there is a modification to the view hole in the case it's kinda beveled. Is it important thing to do?
