I absolutely love Sam. I would marry her in a second. I couldn't believe Andrew sent her a 'Dear Jane' letter. I hope I didn't say to much.

Lone girl posting here, and a straight one - and I think she's the bomb! Cute and bright as a button! Best female character on TV, with Jennifer Carpenter of Dexter a close second.

Cute, intelligent and lovable in every sense of the word; I wonder if she is anything like this in real life? Possible, but then again, girls of her generation are rarely of the same content. A shame, but such is life...we dream on.

I just hope that she's in the next season.
I just love this actress so much !!!!!!!!!!! Really, i never had so much respect for an actress.I just love her.
Damn, when the 6th series ended i felt empty, no more Foyle's War.
Glad the continued this so wonderful created series.I hope she will be back with the most awesome Detective ever, Mr Foyle, in the 8th season.

@silverblue22 , oh my, yes! Love the voice and delivery. Wish we could see her on film. There were such great British and American actresses from the '70s to the '80s. She would fit into some of the finest films of that time.

whereas Honeysuckle Weeks is beautiful and full of personality...such a great voice too...
