Custom EMS bicycle lights Axixtech

I took a NiteRider Police/EMS set, upgraded the siren, changed out the halogen bulbs for LEDs and added much brighter emergency lights to the top. Everything including the siren runs off the water bottle battery now.

You can't buy this setup but you can find the LED module that I used to build it online.

Is the battery in the water bottle specially shaped for the bottle, Or can I buy a battery somewhere that will fit in a bottle?

I have not taken the water bottle apart so I am not sure about the shape of it. I have made my own though with a battery pack, a water bottle, and fiber fill so that it doesn't move around. You can search eBay for "airsoft 12v" and find plenty of thin battery packs that will work.

aye i work for boston fire and we also started a bike co. for medical reasons i've been doing the bike for a year and some change i first saw what you did to your lights and i was wondering if you was selling the lights at all i hope tioo hear form you soon i would love to use them on my bike or i just might even by a set of axis light from the company and have one of our tech guys fix it to my niteriders i already have on my bike

I do not make or sell the lights, I just do them on our bikes. You can find the lights that i used by searching for "Axixtech SLED4". I soldiered the LED wires to the circuit board inside the NiteRider light and put a switch in between.

Yoo, you can make plenty money off of that, especially if you get the siren working, the set up looks great, good innovation as well and, you can prob sell it to a lot of the LE bicycle officers because the lights i see that they use today on their bicycles are a lot like the flashers anyone can buy in a store. so it think if you push this, you can start a new brand of "EMS/Government bicycle strobes/siren package"...

What led modules did oyu use for the halogens? Any issues with them dimming or overheating. Run time with just the led halogen replacements?
