RT² - Real Time Ray Tracer. A very simple CUDA Ray Tracer that I made +- a year ago. Old video, using a Geforce 9800 GX2, consuming only half capacity of this device. New videos soon, but this time I'll be using 2 GTX 295! =)
NVIDIA rocks!

1280 x 720. 4x Supersampling.
4 Spheres + 1 Plane.

  • Hi! No, just a simple whitted ray tracing simulation.

  • Four spheres and a plane? So what?

You probably just stuck the entire calculation into a single kernel.

    Thumbs down from me.

  • @obdeniye Who are you? The guru of ray tracing or something?

This is an old video, just that....

  • Muito legal! :)

  • @nwerneck Obrigado! =)

  • Very nice. But what causes the equatorial shadows? I can't get rid of them in mine either.

  • @someguyyt Do you mean "hard shadows"?
