'If you really believed in the cause ..i want everything free blah blah blah'

My response to the moocher would be, "If you were a real Libertarian you wouldn't have said that." "Maybe you are in the wrong movement... the socialist movement is over there.."

Think libertarian events cost too much? Organize cheaper ones and undercut the market.

Nothing wrong with setting a price to gain a profit either. The consumer will decide if they like the product/service or not. It's voluntarism. :)

This is craziness. One of the things I was introduced to when I discovered Libertarianism was the shear concept that nothing is free. Granted, it's nice when things are complimentary and someone offers to pick up the tab, but it can't be expected. I would love it if Liberty Classroom was free, but I totally get where there's a fee. When I feel my budget can handle it, I'll pay, but for now I'll step back--that's life.

Nothing wrong with setting a price for compensation.

Calling people moochers is a great Ad Hominem/Personal Attack fallacy, well played.

What do you call people who support the Venus Project?

The problem is that market libertarianism attracts misers and cheap arseholes. Anarchism, or social libertarianism, doesn't really get this problem.

    Viva y salud!

How can it be that there are any amount of people who call themselves Libertarians but are not down with payed subscriptions, ticket sales, etc. etc. because those people want to make money while doing what they're so passionate about? They want to be able to live off of their wages or even thrive happily? They attach meaning and importance to material values? Anybody who reacts that way to money, profit, trade and business does not understand the moral defense of capitalism.
