This is a short movie trailer I made that won first place in a competition held annually by the Association of Independent Creative Editors in Boston. The city's assistant editors were challenged to choose a film from the list provided, and edit a trailer for that film that completely changes the genre, while still only using images and dialogue from the film. They could add new music, sound effects, titles, etc. Props to my wise sensai, Paul Gattuso of Paul's Place Editorial, for his guidance.

  • That was GREAT. This was one of my favorite children movies growing up and you made it into an awesome horror movie I would love to see if it was really real. Great job. You totally did deserved to win that contest you won. BRAVO!!! :D

  • This is really funny!

  • I saw the movie when i was a little kid and loved it! Well to be more specific the ending. i would watch the ending over and over, and now since im older i understand how the plot ties in with the ending. Im the trailer you made, which i think is great, could you tell me the plot behind your trailer (obviously its supposed to be a trailer for a horror movie) but do you have a plot behind it? Not the words on the screen(they were a family..). Explain to me how your plot differs from the movie

  • Bravo!!! I love these!
