Don Salls lettered from 1940 to 1942. He played RB / DB. In 1940 and 41 he was #13 and in 1942 he was #5

  • Thanks for the comment. Wish we cold take credit for the color. But that game was actually shot in color. In the 1940's a good many of the 16mm film were in color. I guess it was new. Then in the '50's B&W makes a comeback and up until the 70's most of the games are B&W with an exception here in there. Then starting around 1970 it goes primarily to color film. Our earliest color film is HC 1939 and it is 8mm film.
