in case yall dont know the rock n roll hall of fame is about as correct as the wrestling hall of fame.... cuz the real fans know who puts in work, and what era's and albums stand the test of time. I will stand KISS first three albums over ANY current "rock" act today. Rolling Stone never liked Kiss ,and now they talk about Nickel Back and Rappers (corporate sell-outs),and Floyd is awesome yeah....but they are a different mood. WHY do people compare apples and oranges."why cant we all get along"

@thunderfreak1 KISS hasn't even done half of what Pink Floyd has. Floyd created a genre, played a hauntingly amazing and completely original concert at the ruins of Pompeii in Italy, sold over 230 million albums worldwide including 74.5 million certified unites in the USA. What has KISS done besides shuffle through band members constantly? KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park? FAIL!

@guyofmetal Well said my friend. It's just that I'm a MAJOR Floyd fan and since they're in the HOF I took it the wrong way. I agree that there are some that don't belong in there like..........Lady GaGa... WHY THE FUCK IS SHE IN? SHE HASN'T DONE A MOTHER FUCKING THING. She couldn't even shine Paul Stanley's boots or tune James Hetfield's guitar. She is a talentless attention whore. And yes, Metallica deserves to be in there. They've done an innumerable amount of things for the music industry.

They were the first rock I ever listened to, and I agree with what you say, but you have to take what I said with a grain of salt. There are artists in the the hall of fame that do genuinely deserve to be there, Pink Floyd included. The vast majority however don't. Some artists are recognized for their contributions, and others aren't. Can you honestly say that Metallica deserve their place before Black Sabbath? Before Kiss?
