THE KINGS COME THRU THE GOLDEN GATE AND MAKE THERE WAY UP THE SACAMENTO RIVER , WERE THERE SMIMMING SPACE GET NARROWED DOWN THEY PUSH HARD GETTING MEANER BY THE DAY,THE BOTTOM STRUCTURE AT FREEPORT IS FULL OF CONTURE, DEEP/SHALLOW POCKETS MAKES A GREAT RESTING SPOT... POUND SOME LEAD ON THERE HEAD AND HANG ON, LIGHT TACKLE IS FUN,BUT HEAVY TACKLE WILL GET HER DONE!!

@XxjohnnyBananasxX salmon start coming in around july but hard to catch but u r right sep oct r the best time to hook these pigs and nov is agood time if not raining to much rain the fish dont stop to rest they move up to fast the water gets to muddy and dont bite i like to start late aug all sept all oct some nov if not muddy free port ca in sac is a great place u want to b the fish stay close to the bank15 to 20 feet of water is what we do good in thank u hope this help u out fish on ctf

Wow @ that last fish. That was a TOAD! I just moved to Sacramento and plan on going salmon fishing. Is there any etiquette I should know about? Is keeping a Salmon or two frowned upon?
