  • @chrismusclemanone . Usually you need an engine shop or machine shop though anyway to do the borng and honing so just have em throw it in their washer. It is a big machine with water and industrial cleaner for engines that heats up and acts like a big dishwasher. I run em twice usually then knock off excess and tape gasket surfaces and paint with a nice engine enamal for high heat. at least 600 or more. I am painting turbo 944 next week Lambo orange like the gemballa Carrara gt

  • @pantelis182 they need proper care?

What in the world do you mean by that?

They need rebuilding just like every other engine does. Balence shaft and all that are kinda a pain but its still just an engine.

  • looks like a lindsey racing crate motor

  • Its an 86, When Im done with it, Ill show a picture of it. Another question bro, do you need some kind of professional help with the cleaning of the engine block? If there is, can you tell me how much the costs are.. Thanks man!

  • I have that same engine, the 2.5, I was thinking about rebuilding it this summer, My 944 stood in my uncles garage for 9 years. He was gonna fix it, cause the engine had a problem with the temp, it heats. but never did! But he got engine head off, intake everything, so now i have just the block to clean up, the cilinders are full of dust/ dirt. And i want to rebuild it, the car has only 43k miles on it, and its brand new, with paint and everthing, How long would it take, to rebuild it? An idea?

  • Nice song and nice engine

  • Looks very nice! Ill be doing that to my 951 this coming winter, 2.8L stroker!!
