that's too bad. I f you want to put out an "Old Thumper" or even a a double up on the style. It is hard to earn your wings with a stable of ringwood ales.

hey chris, checkout/review some weihenstephaner dunkel, they have it at bevmo.

@wezzer77 I noticed some cocoa but it was not overwhelming at all. Blended really nicely I thought

@drolretfa yeah it was a really solid offering from them. Cheers

Sounds really good. Great review. Cheers!!!

Hey Chris, did you notice a lot cocoa and chocolate notes in this particular brew? I had it a few weeks ago, and as the brew began to warm up in the glass, the cocoa and chocolate notes kind of overwhelmed the blueberry notes.

Shipyard dissenters likely loath the Ringwood yeast. Only so much diacetyl butterscotch a palate can stand. Are the big beers in the Pugsley series brewed with this yeast as well?

@bigwoofer2 Oh yeah the ringwood is in this one in full force!

Iv yet to have a beer from Shipyard because i hear a lot of bad things about them. But this one sounds interesting. Iv even been to beer bars (not gonna name names) and when asked if they ever carry Shipyard its always the same reaction. "No, we dont carry that kinda stuff around here".

@SouthernOregonOrgani Some of their year round offerings are really weak. But all of the Pugsley Signature series stuff I have had has been spot on good.
