@tikkunolam613 You have a good point with regard to "This canard is the basis for much modern day antisemitism". However, While I believe it plays a part, I would not call it the basis. I believe the real basis is Israel's occupation and blatant disregard for international law / human rights. Most common people do not distinguish between Israel and Jewish people, therefore if they judge Israel's actions negatively, then they make the leap to think all Jewish people support that action.
